Job Interviews

Job interviews are your chance to show what you have to offer to potential employers. It is important to prepare before each interview.
Task 1:
Listen to this mock job interview; list all the Dos and Don'ts which the interviewer has mentioned. Click here to listen to it.
Do be sure to dress appropriately for your interview
Do give a firm but not bone-crushing handshake
Don't forget make eye contact and smile
This isn't a license to tell your life story
Rather use this as an opportunity to get a concise summary have your career abilities angles 
Don't show your weakness just like personality or character flaws
 Instead focus on areas that can be improved upon overtime
Bring a copy of your resume
Stand up and greet your interviewer
Don't wear too much perfume cologne
Ask for your interviewer business card
Turn off your cell phone

Task 2:

Search the internet to find the 10 most annoying gestures during a job interview.
  • Gum chewing
  • Avoiding eye contact
  • Playing with your pen
  • Checking your cellphone
  • Nail biting
  • Picking at, rubbing, or scratching any part of your body
  • Waving your hands while speaking
  • Tugging at your cuffs or at the hem of your skirt
  • Resting your chin in your hand
  • Smiling too much (or not smiling at all)

Task 3:

Telephone interviews can be as stressful as the one-on-one too. Here is another video you will watch to give you some tips for telephone interviewing.

List all the dos and the don't s that the presenter has mention in this video.
Talking about your character ,skills,work history,experiences clearly.
Do some basic research
Copy resume and put it on the table
Speak clearly and slowly
Shouldn't chew gum or eat during the interview.

I had weakness in math,I getting into workforce found math is actually quite important.So I took the initiative and did some classes.that's really improve my skills in those area,  And now I am really confident and comfortable on the mathematically.

February is Black History Month to celebrate the identity and accomplishments of one of Canada's largest ethnic groups. Watch this second video and write what you think about it; don't exceed 50 words.
I think everyone in Canada need to be respected and without any discriminate ,no matter the person's descent is African or Asian or North America, Because everyone has made significant contributions to the country to many aspect. and has difference heritage and culture. Everyone has human rights to be respected.

To write a good cover letter, you need to practice how to customize cover letters for different job ads. Below are three different jobs from two different websites.
